Born in the Swinging Sixties

Kurt Vogel Russell, that's right, Vogel like the bird, not the car, was born on March 17, 1951. That makes him a Pisces, in case you're into that astrology stuff. Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, that's old!" But hold your horses, because this guy has been around the block a few times, and we're not just talking about his impressive acting career.

From Disney to Dude

Kurt started his acting gig at the tender age of 10, playing a young Elvis Presley in the TV movie 'Elvis'. Talk about a big break! From there, he went on to star in a bunch of Disney flicks, like 'The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes' and 'The Strongest Man in the World'. But don't let that fool you, this guy's no one-trick pony.

Fast forward a few decades, and Kurt's hanging out with the cool kids in 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' and 'The Thing'. And who could forget his iconic role as Jack Burton in 'Big Trouble in Little China'? If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and check it out. Trust me, it's a hoot!
