What Age Is Ezra Fitz In Season 1

So, there I was, binge-watching Pretty Little Liars for the umpteenth time (don't judge, it's a guilty pleasure), and I found myself wondering, "Just how old is Ezra Fitz in Season 1?" I mean, sure, he's the charming English teacher with a mysterious side, but how old is he, really?

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Why does it matter, PLL fanatic?" Well, bear with me, because this little detail might just add another layer to the whole 'Ezra is A' theory (or not).

Let's dive into the math, shall we?

First things first, we know that Ezra starts teaching at Rosewood High School in Season 1. We also know that he's a recent graduate from Yale University. So, let's assume he graduated from Yale at the age of, say, 22 (give or take a year, depending on how many times he flunked his exams).

Now, let's fast forward to Season 1. The girls are seniors in high school, which means they're around 17 or 18 years old. If Ezra graduated from Yale at 22 and started teaching immediately after, that would make him around 23 or 24 years old in Season 1.

But wait, there's more!

Remember when Ezra said he was 25 in Season 2, Episode 12 ("The First Secret")? Well, that's a bit of a red herring, because if we go by the timeline, he should have been around 24 in Season 1. But hey, maybe Ezra was just rounding up (or down) his age. After all, who wants to admit they're still in their early 20s when you're trying to look all mature and teacher-like?

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, so Ezra is around 23 or 24 in Season 1. Big deal." But here's the thing: that makes him way too young to be the girls' English teacher. I mean, sure, he's hot and all, but shouldn't there be some kind of age gap between teachers and students? Isn't that, like, a thing?

So, there you have it. Ezra Fitz is around 23 or 24 years old in Season 1 of Pretty Little Liars. Whether that makes him too young to be a teacher, too old to be dating high school students, or just the right age to be a secret agent/serial killer, well, that's up to you to decide.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some more PLL episodes to binge-watch. Until next time, fellow liars!
