Stevie Nicks: Joining Fleetwood Mac, One Spell at a Time

Alright, picture this: you're a young witch, brewing up a storm in your cauldron, when suddenly, the universe whispers, "It's time to join the coven." That's pretty much what happened to Stevie Nicks when she joined Fleetwood Mac.

Now, you might be wondering, "How old was this musical enchantress when she joined the band?" Well, let's rewind to 1974. Stevie was a fresh-faced 26-year-old, just a couple of years older than your average college graduate today. Imagine, you've just thrown your cap in the air, and suddenly, you're invited to join a legendary band!

Stevie was like the new kid in town, joining Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, and Lindsey Buckingham. It was like she'd walked into the cool kids' table at lunch, but instead of a PB&J, she brought a magical menu of hits like "Dreams" and "Rhiannon."

You know how sometimes you meet someone, and it's like they've been there all along? That's how it was with Stevie and Fleetwood Mac. She fit right in, weaving her spellbinding vocals into the band's already enchanting sound. It was like she'd been practicing her incantations all her life for this very moment.

Stevie Nicks' Full Transformation Is A Sight To See

So, there you have it. Stevie Nicks was 26 when she joined Fleetwood Mac. Just old enough to know her craft, but young enough to bring a fresh, bewitching energy to the band. And the rest, as they say, is musical history.

Next time you're belting out "Landslide" in the shower, remember, you're singing along with a woman who joined one of the greatest bands of all time when she was just a few years older than you are now. Pretty magical, huh?
