How Old Was Sabito When He Died

So, I was binge-watching Demon Slayer the other day, and you know how it is, you get invested in these characters, right? I mean, who hasn't shed a tear or two for Nezuko, or cheered for Tanjiro's growth? But there's one character that always gets me, and that's Sabito. I mean, what a tragic story, huh?

Now, I've seen some fans debating about Sabito's age when he kicked the bucket. Some say he was a young'un, others insist he was older. So, I thought, why not do a little digging and settle this once and for all? I mean, who doesn't love a good mystery, right?

Let's Talk About Sabito's Age

First things first, we need to establish when Sabito died. Spoiler alert, if you haven't watched the show yet, he bites the dust in the Final Selection Arc. Now, how old was he when he met his untimely end?

Here's where it gets a bit tricky. The series doesn't give us a specific age for Sabito. But, we can make some educated guesses based on what we do know.

Sabito's Background

Sabito was a part of the same group as Tanjiro and Nezuko, the Butterfly Mansion. He was one of the top candidates in the Final Selection, which means he was one of the best demon slayers in training. Now, you don't get to that level without some serious training and dedication, right?

We know that Tanjiro was 13 when he started his demon slayer journey. Sabito was already a top candidate by that time. So, he must have started his training earlier than Tanjiro. That means Sabito was probably around 12 or 13 when he died.

But What About His Appearance?

Some fans argue that Sabito looked older than 13. I mean, he had that mature, serious vibe going on. But remember, folks, appearance can be deceiving. Just look at Giyu, he looks like he's in his 30s, but he's only in his 20s. Plus, Sabito's serious demeanor could be attributed to his intense training and the weight of his mission.
