Depp's Debut as Sparrow

Picture this: it's 2003, and Johnny Depp is 40 years old. Yep, you heard it right! The first time we saw him swagger onto the screen with that signature grin and wonky hat, he was already a grown man with a career spanning two decades.

Depp's Timeless Performance

Over the course of five films (so far!), Depp has brought Captain Jack to life with such panache that it's hard to imagine anyone else in the role. And while the years may have passed, Depp's portrayal has only gotten better with age.
