Ever wondered about the age of that charismatic British YouTuber who's been making us laugh and think for over a decade? You're not alone. Phil Lester, one half of the popular YouTube duo Dan and Phil, has been a staple in the digital world since 2006. But how old is he, really?

Born in the '90s, Raised on the Internet

Phil was born on January 30, 1987, in Bradford, England. That makes him a millennial, born right at the cusp of the '90s and the new millennium. He grew up in the era of dial-up internet and MSN Messenger, a time when the world wide web was still a wild, unexplored frontier.

His first foray into the digital world was in 2006, when he started his YouTube channel, 'AmazingPhil'. He was just 19, a fresh-faced teenager with a camera and a dream. Little did he know that he was about to become a pioneer in the burgeoning world of online entertainment.

From 'AmazingPhil' to Dan and Phil

Phil's channel started with simple vlogs and challenges, but it wasn't long before he crossed paths with another young YouTuber, Daniel Hardwick, or 'Dan'. Together, they created the iconic duo 'Dan and Phil', blending comedy, music, and a whole lot of banter in their videos.

From 'The Phillip Oliver Show' to '7 Days in Hell', their content has evolved over the years, but their chemistry and humor have remained constants. They've turned their YouTube fame into a multimedia empire, with books, tours, and even a TV show under their belts.
