Now, picture that uncle sitting you down, leaning in, and saying, "You wanna know how old I am, kid? Well, let me tell you a story..."

Born in the Roaring '40s

Alright, so our story begins in the swinging '40s, in the heart of Newark, New Jersey. It's 1943, and the world's a bit topsy-turvy, just like one of Pesci's hilarious movie moments. On February 9th, amidst the jazz music and the smell of victory gardens, little Joseph Frank Pesci makes his grand entrance. Now, if you're doing the math, that makes our funny man 79 years young as of 2022. But who's counting, right?

Picture this: Joe's growing up in the '50s, a time when Elvis was shaking things up, and the first Barbie doll was hitting the shelves. It's a world of sock hops, drive-in movies, and the birth of rock 'n' roll. Pesci's soaking it all up, and it's no surprise that he'd grow up to be a man who knows a thing or two about making people laugh and dance in their seats.

From Newark to Hollywood

Fast forward through the '60s and '70s, and our guy Joe's making a name for himself in the music scene. He's a singer, a musician, and even a bar owner. But it's not long before he catches the acting bug. And just like that, he's off to Hollywood, ready to give the big screen a piece of his unique charm.
