How Old Is Ezra In Rebels

Hey there, fellow Star Wars fan! You know how sometimes we're watching "Star Wars Rebels" and we're like, "Wow, Ezra's really grown since the first season!" But have you ever wondered, "Just how old is this kid, anyway?" Well, grab your lightsaber and let's dive into the timeline of our favorite young Jedi!

Ezra's Early Years

Alright, so we first meet Ezra Bridger in the animated series' premiere, "Spark of Rebellion," when he's 14 years old. He's a street-smart orphan on Lothal, trying to make ends meet by stealing Imperial cargo. Now, you might be thinking, "14? That's just a baby!" But remember, in the Star Wars galaxy, the age of responsibility comes a bit earlier than in our world. Plus, Ezra's been through a lot, so he's got a wisdom beyond his years.

In case you're wondering, Ezra was born in 19 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin, for those unfamiliar with the Star Wars dating system). His parents, Ephraim and Mira, were part of a group of Lothal settlers who were forcefully recruited by the Empire to work in the mines. Tragically, they were killed in an Imperial attack when Ezra was just a toddler. Talk about a tough break, huh?

Growing Up on the Ghost

After joining the crew of the Ghost, Ezra's life takes a major turn. He's not just fighting for his own survival anymore; he's part of a bigger cause. And let's not forget, he's also learning the ways of the Force from the wise and mysterious Kanan Jarrus. So, how old is Ezra when he starts his Jedi training?

Well, by the time we reach the second season, Ezra's 15. He's still got a lot to learn, but he's coming into his own as a Jedi. He's got that rebellious streak in him, though – he's not afraid to question Kanan's teachings or take risks. But hey, isn't that just part of being a teenager?

Ezra's Biggest Leap

Season 2 brings us to "Fire Across the Galaxy," where Ezra faces his biggest challenge yet: taking on the Sith Inquisitor, the Fifth Brother. In this epic showdown, Ezra's just turned 16. Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, 16 and he's already taking on Sith? Talk about a fast learner!" But remember, Ezra's got a unique connection to the World Between Worlds, which gives him an edge in his training.

By the time we reach the series finale, "Family Reunion – and Farewell," Ezra's 17. He's come a long way since we first met him – he's a full-fledged Jedi Knight, leading his own team of rebels, and even saving the entire galaxy from the Empire's clutches. Not bad for a kid who started out as a lowly thief, huh?
