How Old Is Eren Yeager

So, I was at this comic con last weekend, right? And I'm standing in line for a coffee, when I overhear this kid behind me. He's maybe 12, wearing an Attack on Titan hoodie, and he's telling his friend, "Eren's only 15, you know. He's not even older than us!" I chuckled, turned around, and said, "Well, in the world of anime, age is just a number, isn't it?" The kid grinned, and we got talking about Eren Yeager. That got me thinking, just how old is Eren, really?

Eren's Age: A Timeline

Let's dive into the world of Attack on Titan, shall we? Eren's age is a bit of a journey, so buckle up!

When the series starts, Eren is 10 years old. It's the year 845, and the world is under constant threat from the Titans. Eren, his adoptive sister Mikasa, and their friend Armin live in the walled city of Shiganshina. Their peaceful life is shattered when a Colossal Titan appears, destroying their home and kidnapping Eren's mom.

Fast forward to 5 years later, Eren is now 15. He's joined the Survey Corps, determined to find out about the world outside the walls and, of course, to kill every last Titan. This is where we meet him in the series, ready to fight and full of that teenage angst and passion.

But Wait, There's More!

Now, here's where it gets interesting. The series skips forward in time quite a bit. After the "Time Skip" arc, Eren is 19. He's grown a bit, both physically and in his understanding of the world. He's also gained some new powers, but I won't spoil it for you!

Then, in the final season, we see Eren at 20. He's the main focus of the series now, and let's just say, he's got some big plans. But hey, I don't want to give away any spoilers, do I?

So, How Old Is Eren?

Well, that depends on where you are in the series, doesn't it? But if you're talking about the main part of the story, Eren Yeager is a 15-year-old boy with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. He's got the weight of the world on his back, quite literally, with those Titan powers of his.

But remember, age is just a number in the world of anime. Eren might be young, but he's been through more than most adults. He's seen horrors that would break most people, and yet, he keeps fighting. That's what makes Eren, Eren. And that's why we love him, right?

Now, I've got to ask, what's your favorite Eren moment? Let me know in the comments! Until next time, folks. Keep your blades sharp and your hearts ready!
