How Old Is Declan Donnelly

Declan Donnelly: Ageless on Our Screens

Ever wondered how old Declan Donnelly, one half of the beloved presenting duo Ant & Dec, really is? Let's dive into the world of this ageless wonder and explore the man behind the smile.

Born in the '70s

Declan Joseph Donnelly was born on the 25th of September, 1975, in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. That makes him a Virgo, for all you astrology enthusiasts out there. Growing up in the '80s, Declan was a child of the MTV generation, with icons like Michael Jackson and Madonna shaping his musical landscape.

Fun fact: Declan's first job was as a paperboy. Can you imagine little Declan, all bundled up, cycling through the Newcastle streets in the chilly mornings? It's a far cry from his current globetrotting lifestyle!

From Byker Grove to World Stages

Declan's career began in the '90s, when he and his best friend, Anthony McPartlin (better known as Ant), were cast in the British soap opera Byker Grove. They played the roles of PJ and Duncan, which later evolved into their pop duo, PJ & Duncan (later known as Ant & Dec). Remember their hit single, "Let's Get Ready to Rhumble"?

From there, their careers skyrocketed. They hosted shows like SMTV Live, CD:UK, and the iconic I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. They've also won a staggering 32 BAFTAs, making them the most successful television duo in the history of British television.
