How Old Are The Kooks

Ever wondered about the age of those British indie rockers, The Kooks? You're not alone! Let's dive into their musical journey and unravel the years behind their hits like "Naive" and "She Moves in Her Own Way".

Meet the Band

Formed in 2004 in Brighton, the seaside town that's always sunny in our minds, The Kooks are Luke Pritchard (lead vocals and guitar), Hugh Harris (guitar), Paul Garred (bass), and Alexis Nunez (drums).

Now, let's get down to business. How old are they?

Luke Pritchard - The Frontman

Born on March 2, 1986, Luke is the youngest of the bunch. That makes him a 36-year-old Virgo, if you're into astrology. He was just 18 when The Kooks burst onto the scene with their debut album, "Inside In/Inside Out".

Fun fact: Luke's first guitar was a £100 acoustic he bought with his paper round money. Now that's dedication!

Hugh Harris - The Quiet Guitarist

Hugh, born on January 16, 1985, is the second youngest. He's a 37-year-old Capricorn, known for his laid-back demeanor and killer riffs. Before The Kooks, Hugh played in a band called Bread and Jam. We're not sure what that's about, but it sounds delicious.

Paul Garred - The Bassist

Paul, born on June 21, 1983, is the oldest of the group. He's a 39-year-old Gemini. Before joining The Kooks, Paul was in a band called Little Chief. We're sensing a theme here - these guys have been in the game for ages!

Fun fact: Paul's bass was once stolen from their van. They found it a few days later, hidden in a bush. Talk about a wild goose chase!

Alexis Nunez - The Drummer

Alexis, born on August 12, 1982, is another Gemini. He's 39 years old and hails from Colombia. Alexis joined The Kooks in 2008, replacing their original drummer, Paul Thathcher.
