Cast Of Poldark 2015

Hey there, Poldark fans! Grab a cuppa, get comfy, 'cause we're about to dish the dirt on the fabulous cast of the 2015 BBC hit. So, who's ready to dive into some Cornish drama?

Our Hero: Ross Poldark

First up, we've got our dashing hero, Ross Poldark, played by the incredibly talented Aidan Turner. Now, I don't know about you, but I could watch this guy scowl and brood all day. He's like a moody painting come to life. And that hair! fans self It's enough to make a grown woman swoon.

But Aidan's not just a pretty face, oh no. He's got acting chops to boot. He's been quoted saying, "I'm not a fan of the word 'smolder'... I just try to play the scenes as honestly as I can." Well, Aidan, whatever you're doing, keep doing it. We're not complaining.

Our Heroine: Demelza

Next up, we've got our leading lady, Demelza, played by the wonderful Eleanor Tomlinson. Now, Eleanor might be tiny in stature, but she's a powerhouse in this show. She transforms from a shy kitchen maid into a fierce and independent woman, and we can't get enough of her.

Eleanor's been quoted saying, "Demelza is a character who grows so much throughout the series." And we love watching her evolution, from timid mouse to roaring lioness. You go, girl!

Our Villain: George Warleggan

Now, let's talk about the baddie of the piece, George Warleggan, played by the brilliant Jack Farthing. This guy is like a real-life Cruella de Vil, with his slicked-back hair and sneering smirks. He's the epitome of smug, and we love to hate him.

Jack's been quoted saying, "George is a fascinating character because he's so morally ambiguous." And isn't that the truth? He's like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get. But one thing's for sure, he's always up to no good.

Our Sidekick: Dr. Dwight Enys

Last but not least, we've got our resident heartthrob and sidekick, Dr. Dwight Enys, played by the dreamy Luke Norris. This guy is like the ultimate best friend - he's loyal, kind, and always ready with a quip or a smile. And let's not forget, he's got the medical skills to save the day. What more could you want?

Luke's been quoted saying, "Dwight is the moral compass of the show." And we couldn't agree more. He's the voice of reason in a world gone mad, and we love him for it.

And the Rest...

But wait, there's more! The cast of Poldark is like a who's who of British talent. We've got the fabulous Heida Reed as Elizabeth, the enigmatic Beatie Edney as Ross's Aunt Agatha, and the hilarious Ruby Bentall as Verity, Ross's cousin. Each and every one of them brings something special to the show.

At the end of the day, what makes Poldark so darn watchable is its incredible cast. They bring these complex, flawed characters to life in a way that's utterly compelling. They make us laugh, they make us cry, they make us want to throw things at the screen. And isn't that what great drama is all about?
