Cast Of Osage County Movie

Grab a Seat, Let's Dish About the Osage County Movie Cast!

Alright, so you've seen August: Osage County, right? The one where Meryl Streep chews scenery like it's her job (spoiler alert: it is)? Let's spill the tea on that powerhouse cast, yeah?

Meryl Streep as Violet Weston

I mean, where do we even start with Meryl? She's like the queen of Hollywood, right? So, when she dons that wig and those crazy nails to play Violet, you know it's gonna be a wild ride. Violet's a pill-popping, truth-bomb-dropping matriarch, and Meryl slays it. I mean, who else could make you laugh one minute and cringe the next?

Julia Roberts as Barbara Fordham

Now, Julia Roberts playing Meryl's daughter? That's a dynamic duo right there. Barbara's been away from her dysfunctional family for years, but she's back, and she's not happy. Julia nails that mix of frustration, love, and sheer exhaustion. And that hair! It's like a character all on its own.

Ewan McGregor as Little Charles Aiken

Okay, so Ewan McGregor. He's like the calm in the storm that is the Weston family. As Violet's husband, he's the voice of reason (well, as much as there can be in this family). But let's be real, we're all here for those beautiful, beautiful locks.

Chris Cooper as Charlie Aiken

Now, Chris Cooper. He's the epitome of calm and collected, right? Until he's not. As Violet's brother, Charlie, he's got his own secrets bubbling under the surface. And when they finally boil over? Wow. Talk about a plot twist.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Little Charles

Yes, you read that right. Benedict Cumberbatch is in this movie too! As the grown-up version of Violet's son, he's got that classic Cumberbatch charm. But don't let that fool you; he's got his fair share of family drama to deal with.

And the Rest...

Let's not forget about Margo Martindale, Julianne Nicholson, and Abigail Breslin. They might not have top billing, but they each bring something special to the table. This is one of those casts where everyone just works. It's like a family reunion from hell, and we're all invited.

So, what did you think of the cast? Who was your favorite? And who else wishes they could've seen Meryl and Julia go head-to-head? Let's chat in the comments, yeah?
