Best Jets Te Players Of All Time

So, you're into the Jets, huh? Let's grab a coffee and chat about the best players to ever don the green and white. Grab a seat, let's dive in!

Broadway Joe: The Original Jet

You can't talk about the Jets without mentioning Joe Namath, right? The man, the myth, the legend. He was the first big-name quarterback to join the AFL, and he didn't disappoint. Four Pro Bowls, a Super Bowl win, and that famous guarantee against the Colts. I mean, who can forget that fur coat and those commercials? He was the original Jets superstar.

But hey, let's not forget, he was also a bit of a... character. I mean, come on, the man was a Broadway show in his own right. But that's what made him so darn lovable, right?

Cerra-tainly a Jet

Next up, we've got Joe Cerra. Now, you might be thinking, "Who's that?" But trust me, this guy was a beast on the field. He played every game for the Jets from 1961 to 1965. That's right, every single one. Talk about dedication!

And he wasn't just a workhorse, he was a playmaker too. He was the first Jet to score 100 points in a season, and he did it twice. Not bad for a guy who was basically the team's entire offense for a few years, huh?

Revis Island: The Best Corner in the Game

Now, let's fast forward a bit to the 21st century. We've got to talk about Darrelle Revis. This guy was a shutdown corner like no other. He could cover anyone, one-on-one, no problem. I mean, he practically invented the term "Revis Island."

He was a three-time All-Pro, a seven-time Pro Bowler, and he even won a Super Bowl with the Patriots. But let's be real, he'll always be a Jet in our hearts. And hey, he even came back for one last ride in 2018. Now that's a true Jet!

Fitzmagic: The Ageless Wonder

Speaking of comebacks, have you been keeping up with Ryan Fitzpatrick? This guy's been around forever, and he's still going strong. He might not have had the longest career with the Jets, but man, he sure made an impact.

Ranking the 5 Best New York Jets Players of All Time

Remember the 2015 season? Fitzmagic was on fire, throwing for over 3,900 yards and 31 touchdowns. He led the league in passing that year, and he did it all with a bunch of backups as his receivers. That's some serious magic right there.

Honorable Mentions

Alright, I know I said we'd keep it short, but I've got to give a shoutout to a few more Jets greats. How about Curtis Martin? The guy rushed for over 100 yards in a game 21 times. That's some serious consistency right there.

And what about Jeremy Kerley? He might not have been the most statistically impressive receiver, but he sure was a fan favorite. Plus, he was the first Jet to score a touchdown in the new Meadowlands stadium. That's got to count for something, right?

Alright, I think that's enough Jets talk for now. We've covered some legends, some underrated gems, and even a little bit of Fitzmagic. But hey, that's what makes being a Jets fan so much fun, right? There's always something to talk about, something to remember.

So, what do you think, friend? Did I miss anyone? Who's your favorite Jet of all time? Let's keep the conversation going in the comments. Until next time, stay green and white!
