1. Joe Namath - The Original Broadway Joe

Kicking things off is none other than the man who put the Jets on the map, Joe Namath. This Alabama legend was the first quarterback taken in the 1965 AFL draft, and he didn't disappoint. Namath's swagger and confidence were as legendary as his play, earning him the nickname "Broadway Joe." He led the Jets to their only Super Bowl victory, III against the Baltimore Colts, in 1969. Fun fact: Namath was also a fashion icon, known for his fur coats and flashy attire.

Namath's legacy extends beyond the field. He was a trailblazer for quarterback fashion, paving the way for today's style-savvy QBs like Jimmy Garoppolo and Josh Allen. So, Jets fans, take a cue from Broadway Joe and let your style flag fly.

2. Don Maynard - The Original Jet

Before Namath, there was Don Maynard, the first player to wear the Jets uniform. A wide receiver, Maynard was a key player in the Jets' AFL championship teams in 1968 and 1969. He was also the first player to catch 600 passes in his career, a testament to his longevity and skill.

Maynard's impact on the Jets was so significant that the team retired his number 13. So, next time you're at MetLife Stadium, raise a glass (or a foam finger) to the man who started it all.

3. Curtis Martin - The Quiet Storm

Martin's dedication to his craft is a lesson we can all take to heart. Whether you're training for a 5k or trying to master a new skill, remember Martin's work ethic and keep grinding.

4. Darrelle Revis - Revis Island
