Born to Rock

Elton Hercules John, that's right, Hercules! Born on March 25, 1947, in the UK. That makes him a few years older than your average pop star, but who's counting?

Imagine this: while you were learning to walk, little Elton was already tickling the ivories. By age 4, he was playing 'The Skater's Waltz' on the piano. Talk about a prodigy!

From Pinball to Pop

Before he was a Rocket Man, Elton was a pinball whiz. He loved it so much, he even named his production company 'Rocket Pictures' after his favorite machine, 'Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy'.

And speaking of 'Rocket Man', did you know he wrote it in just 10 minutes? That's faster than it takes to make a cup of tea!
