Stranger Things Cast Age

Ever Wondered: How Old is the 'Stranger Things' Cast?

Alright, gather 'round, fellow 'Stranger Things' fans. You know we're all obsessed with the Upside Down, the Demogorgon, and Eleven's epic waffle love. But have you ever stopped to think about the ages of the talented cast that brings this eerie world to life? Let's dive in, shall we?

Our Fave Kids: Then and Now

Let's start with the OG kids, shall we? When the series first aired in 2016, Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) was just a wee 12 years old. Can you even? I mean, she was already killing it on screen, but in real life, she was still a tween! Now, she's a teenager, turning 18 this year. Time flies, right?

Remember when Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) was the cute kid next door? Well, he's all grown up now, turning 19 this December. And get this, he's already got an impressive film resume, including a role in the 'It' franchise. Talk about a kid making waves!

And what about Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair)? They were 13 and 14 when the show started, respectively. Now, they're both 19, with Gaten even hosting his own show, 'Prank Encounters' on Netflix. How cool is that?

Our Fave Adults: Aging Like Fine Wine

Now, let's talk about the grown-ups. When the series started, Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) was 44, and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) was 41. They were already established actors, but 'Stranger Things' gave them a whole new lease on fame. Winona's been around since the '80s, you know, like a fine wine, just getting better with age.

And how about Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler) and Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers)? They were both 19 when the show started, and now they're both 27. They've grown up right before our eyes, both on and off screen. They've even become a real-life couple, which is just the cutest thing ever.

New Kids on the Block

With each season, new faces join the 'Stranger Things' family. Remember when Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield) and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington, all grown up) were newbies? Sadie was just 15 when she joined the cast in season 2, and now she's 19. Joe, on the other hand, was 24 when he first appeared, and now he's 29. Fun fact: Joe's actually the oldest cast member now!

Isn't it crazy how time flies? Our favorite kids are all grown up, and our favorite adults are still killing it. It's like we've all been on this journey together, you know? So here's to another season, another trip to the Upside Down, and another chance to marvel at the incredible talent of the 'Stranger Things' cast.
