How Old Were Rhett And Link When They Started Gmm

So, there I was, scrolling through YouTube the other day, and I stumbled upon one of those "Good Mythical Morning" episodes where Rhett and Link are trying to make pancakes while standing on one foot. I mean, who doesn't need a good laugh first thing in the morning, right?

It got me thinking, how long have these two been at it? I've been a fan for what feels like forever, but I couldn't quite put my finger on when they started. So, I decided to do a little digging. You know, for science. Or, you know, just because I was curious.

Back to the Beginning

Alright, so let's rewind to the year 2012. That's when Rhett and Link launched their first YouTube channel, "Epic Lloyd Christmas." Now, I know what you're thinking, "But what about 'Good Mythical Morning'?" Well, hold your horses, my friend. We're getting there.

Now, Rhett, whose real name is Rhett James McLaughlin, was 26 when they started "Epic Lloyd Christmas." And Link, whose real name is Charles Lincoln Neal III, was 33. Yes, you read that right. Link is the older one. I know, I know, it's hard to believe. He doesn't look a day over 29.

The Birth of GMM

Fast forward to 2013, and the dynamic duo launched "Good Mythical Morning." And the rest, as they say, is history. Or, you know, YouTube fame.

Good Mythical Morning: countdown, release date and trailers

So, how old were they when they started GMM? Well, Rhett was 27, and Link was 34. Can you believe they've been making us laugh and cringe for that long? It's like they've been a part of our lives forever, isn't it?

Growing Up with GMM

I mean, think about it. They've been there through it all. They've grown with us, from their humble beginnings in a garage to their own studio. They've gone from trying to make us laugh with simple pranks to creating full-blown TV shows.

Good Mythical Morning Where Are They From

And through it all, they've stayed true to themselves. They're still the same goofy guys we fell in love with all those years ago. They're just... older. And wiser. And maybe a little more tired. But who isn't, am I right?

So, there you have it. Rhett and Link were 27 and 34 when they started "Good Mythical Morning." And while they might not be the fresh-faced youngsters they were back then, they're still the same old Rhett and Link we know and love. And for that, we're all grateful.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some pancake-making to do. But I'll be doing it while sitting down. Because, you know, respect my back.
