How Old Was Zach Callison When Steven Universe Started

So, you're curious about how old Zach Callison was when Steven Universe started, huh? Well, grab a coffee, get comfy, and let's dive into this together.

First things first, Zach was born on October 23, 1997. That makes him a Libra, in case you're into that astrology stuff. Now, Steven Universe premiered on November 4, 2013. You doing the math here? Yeah, Zach was just a 16-year-old kid when he started voicing our beloved Steven Quartz Universe.

I mean, can you even imagine? Here's this teenager, barely out of his awkward phase, and he's already lending his voice to a character that's about to become a cultural phenomenon. Talk about starting your career with a bang, right?

But wait, you might be thinking, "Wasn't he a little young to play a character that's supposed to be 14?" Well, here's the thing: voice acting is a funny business. Sometimes, the voice you need is in a body that's a bit older or younger than the character. And in Zach's case, his voice just nailed the role of a young, optimistic, and sometimes clumsy kid like Steven.

Plus, think about it. Zach grew up with Steven. Over the course of five seasons, he watched Steven evolve, learn, and become the Crystal Gem we all know and love. It's like they aged together, in a way. By the time the show ended, Zach was 22, and Steven was... well, he was still 14, but you know what I mean.

So, there you have it. Zach Callison was 16 when Steven Universe started. Pretty crazy, huh? It just goes to show, you're never too young to make a mark in this world. Now, who's ready for another refill?
