Susan Sarandon in Rocky Horror: A Blast from the Past

Ever found yourself at a party, trying to guess someone's age? You know, that awkward moment when you're torn between asking, "How old are you?" or just sticking to, "You look great for your age!" Well, that's kind of what we're doing here with Susan Sarandon and her role in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Now, before we dive in, let's set the scene. It's the late 70s, disco balls are spinning, and Susan Sarandon, our leading lady, is just a fresh-faced 31. That's right, she was a mere baby compared to the timeless, ageless wonder she is today. I mean, she's like that fine wine that just keeps getting better, right?

So, How Old Was She?

Alright, let's get down to business. In Rocky Horror, Sarandon plays the iconic Janet Weiss, a character who's all wide-eyed innocence and virginity. Now, imagine you're at a high school reunion, and you're trying to guess the age of the woman who played Janet. You'd probably say, "She looks like she's in her late teens, early twenties, tops!"

But no, my friends, that's just Susan's timeless charm fooling us all. She was actually in her early thirties when she donned that pleated skirt and those knee-high socks. I know, I know, it's mind-blowing. It's like finding out your history teacher was a total rockstar in their youth. You just can't picture it, can you?

And that's the thing about Susan Sarandon. She's like that favorite band that just keeps on rocking. She's been in the game for decades, and she's still going strong. She's played everything from a virgin to a witch, from a mother to a political activist. And through it all, she's aged like fine wine, becoming more fabulous with each passing year.
