How Old Was Scarlett Johansson In Eight Legged Freaks

So, How Old Was Scarlett Johansson in 'Eight Legged Freaks'?

You know, I was watching 'Eight Legged Freaks' the other day - yes, the one with the giant spiders - and it got me thinking. I mean, it's been ages since I last saw it, and I was curious, how old was Scarlett Johansson when she played the role of Ashley? I figured, why not find out and share it with you guys?

First things first, 'Eight Legged Freaks' was released in 2002. Now, I know what you're thinking, "That's like, what, 20 years ago?" Yep, time flies, right? So, let's do some math.

Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984. That makes her a Scorpio, if you're into that sort of thing. Now, if we subtract 2002 from 1984, we get... drumroll please... 18! That's right, Johansson was just 18 years old when she starred in this creepy-crawly flick.

But wait, you might be thinking, "She looks older than that!" Well, yes, she does. You see, Johansson had already been acting for a few years by then. She made her debut in North when she was just 10, and had roles in The Horse Whisperer and Ghost World before 'Eight Legged Freaks'. So, she was already a seasoned actress by the time she faced off against those eight-legged monsters.

Now, you might be wondering, why does this matter? Well, it doesn't, really. It's just one of those fun facts that pop into your head while you're watching a movie. But hey, now you know! And who knows, maybe next time you watch 'Eight Legged Freaks', you'll appreciate Johansson's performance a little more, knowing she was just a teenager when she filmed it.

Anyway, I've got to go. I've got a sudden urge to watch 'The Avengers' now. You know, just to see how she's aged. Or not. See you around!
