How Old Was Mgk In 2012

So, I was scrolling through some old concert photos the other day, you know how it is, nostalgia trip and all that. And there I was, staring at this grainy image of Machine Gun Kelly, looking all sorts of young and wild. It got me thinking, "Hey, how old was MGK in 2012?" I mean, it's not like we're all getting any younger, right?

Back in the Day

Alright, so let's rewind the clock to 2012. I was still trying to figure out how to use this newfangled thing called a 'smartphone', and MGK, well, he was just starting to make some noise in the music scene. But how old was he, you ask? Let's dive in.

Colson Baker, that's MGK to us plebs, was born on April 22, 1990. Yes, you read that right, he's a 90s baby. Now, 2012 was... let me do the math here... carry the two... oh, right, he was 22 years old. Can you even imagine being 22 again? I'm getting a sudden urge to go find my old college ID.

From Rap to Rock

Now, 2012 was a big year for MGK. He dropped his first studio album, 'Lace Up', and it was like, boom! The world took notice. He was this fresh face in the rap game, all energy and attitude. But you know what? He was still just a kid. I mean, I was probably still trying to figure out how to use my DVR at that age.

And let's not forget, this was the year he started making waves in the rock scene too. He collaborated with Avril Lavigne on 'Alice', and suddenly, he was everywhere. I remember thinking, "This kid's got range." And he was only 22! I was still trying to decide if I was a 'pants on the ground' kind of guy or not.

Growing Up MGK Style

So, there you have it. MGK was 22 in 2012. It's crazy to think about, right? I mean, he's all grown up now, with a kid of his own. Time flies, folks. It's like one minute you're trying to figure out how to use a smartphone, and the next, you're wondering where all the good music went.

But hey, that's life. And MGK, well, he's just been out here living his best life, growing up right before our eyes. From a young rapper to a rockstar, he's come a long way. And you know what? I think he's just getting started. So, here's to MGK, to growing up, and to all of us trying to figure out this thing called life.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some old concert photos to reminisce over. And maybe, just maybe, I'll finally figure out how to use this smartphone.
