How Old Was Finn Wolfhard In It Chapter 2

Guess Who's All Grown Up? Finn Wolfhard in It Chapter 2

So, you've just finished binge-watching Stranger Things for the third time, and you're feeling all nostalgic about Mike Wheeler's sweet, nerdy charm. You're not alone. Finn Wolfhard, the Canadian heartthrob who plays Mike, has been stealing our hearts since he was just a kid. But have you ever wondered, just how old was Finn Wolfhard when he starred in It Chapter 2?

Let's rewind a bit. Remember when you were 15, and you thought you were the coolest cat on the block? Well, that's how old Finn was when he started filming It Chapter 2. Can you believe it? The same age as your little cousin who's always trying to impress you with his new dance moves.

Now, you might be thinking, "15? That's crazy! He looked so grown up in that movie." And you're right. Finn, with his towering height and that signature hair, can pass for someone in their late teens, or even early twenties. But let's not forget, he was just a sophomore in high school when he was scaring the pants off us as Richie Tozier.

You know how sometimes you see a kid on the street and you think, "Wow, they're so grown up!" and then you find out they're only 12? That's kind of what it's like with Finn. He's got this mature, laid-back vibe, but he's still just a teenager at heart. I mean, the kid loves playing guitar and video games, just like any other teen.

IT CHAPTER TWO Will De-Age Finn Wolfhard to Look Younger - Nerdist

But why should you care about Finn's age, you ask? Well, for starters, it's a reminder that even our favorite on-screen heroes are just kids off-screen. It's a testament to their talent that they can make us believe they're all grown up, when in reality, they're still figuring out life just like the rest of us.

Plus, it's always fascinating to see how young actors grow and change over time. Finn, for instance, has gone from playing a kid in a love triangle in Stranger Things to a wise-cracking teen in It Chapter 2. And let's not forget his roles in Ghostbusters and The Goldfinch. Each role is a step forward in his career, and it's exciting to watch.

So, the next time you're watching It Chapter 2 and you're on the edge of your seat because of Richie's bravery, remember that the actor behind that brave face is just a 15-year-old kid, navigating his way through the scary world of Hollywood, just like the rest of us.

And hey, if you're feeling old after reading this, don't worry. You're in good company. Even Finn's character in It Chapter 2 is an adult, and he's just as terrified as the rest of us. But that's a story for another time.
