How Old Was Elsa

So, you're curious about Elsa's age, huh? Let's dive into this frosty mystery, shall we?

Let's Start with the Obvious

Elsa, the ice queen from Disney's "Frozen," doesn't exactly have a birth certificate we can check. But we can use some good old-fashioned deduction to figure this out.

First off, let's consider her sister, Anna. When Elsa's coronation goes awry in the first movie, Anna is 18. Now, we know that Elsa was born a few minutes before Anna (because, you know, royal twins and all that). So, Elsa is at least 18 too, right?

But Wait, There's More

Now, let's fast-forward to "Frozen II." It's clear that some time has passed since the first movie. Anna's still single, but Elsa's got a girlfriend now. I mean, it's about time, right? But I digress.

In this sequel, Elsa has a vision of their parents when they were younger. And let's just say, their parents don't look like they're in their 50s. So, it's safe to assume that Elsa and Anna are in their early to mid-20s at this point.

Time for Some Frozen Math

Alright, let's do some math. If Elsa and Anna are in their mid-20s in "Frozen II," and we know that Anna was 18 in the first movie, that means about 7 years have passed between the two films.

How Old Are the Frozen Characters? Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, Sven

So, if Elsa was 18 when we first met her, and 7 years have passed, that makes her... 25 years old in "Frozen II"!

But Wait, There's More (Again)

Now, you might be thinking, "But what about the short films and the TV series? Don't they give us more clues?" Well, yes, they do.

"Frozen Fever" takes place before the first movie, and Elsa's still struggling with her powers. So, she's definitely younger than 18 there. And "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" and the TV series "Frozen: The Series" show us more of Elsa and Anna's lives, but they don't give us a clear timeline.

How Old Each Disney Princess Is (Including Frozen's Anna & Elsa)

But here's the thing: none of those stories contradict our math. They just fill in more of Elsa's backstory. So, we're sticking with our 25-year-old Elsa from "Frozen II".

So, There You Have It

Elsa is 25 years old. Or at least, that's our best guess. Disney hasn't confirmed anything, but hey, we had fun trying to figure it out, didn't we?

Now, who's ready for some "Let It Go" karaoke?
