Rewind to 1994

Picture this: it's 1994. The grunge era is in full swing, Clinton is in the White House, and a young, fresh-faced Alicia Silverstone is about to become a household name.

Now, you might be thinking, "But wasn't she, like, a baby back then?" Not quite, my friend. Alicia was actually a mature 16 years old when she stepped into the role of the lovably ditzy Cher Horowitz.

Wait, What?

Yep, you heard it right! The actress who brought us the unforgettable line, "As if!" was just a teen herself when she filmed the movie. But don't worry, she was more than ready for the spotlight.

Born on October 24, 1976, Alicia had already been acting for a few years by the time she landed the role of a lifetime in Clueless. She had appeared in a few TV shows and movies, but nothing could have prepared her for the cultural phenomenon that was about to happen.

But here's the thing: Alicia wasn't just a pretty face. She brought depth and charm to the character of Cher, making her relatable despite her privileged lifestyle. And let's not forget her incredible comedic timing – who else could pull off that "Rollin' with the homies" line with such panache?
