How Old Is Yuji In Jjk

So, you're curious about Yuji Itadori's age in Jujutsu Kaisen, huh? Let's dive in, because this topic is just too fun to pass up!

First Things First: When's Yuji's Birthday?

Alright, so here's the thing. The manga and anime don't explicitly tell us Yuji's birthday. But don't worry, we're not left in the dark. We can still have some fun with this!

In the anime, Episode 13 gives us a hint. It's revealed that Yuji is a year older than his best friend, Megumi Fushiguro. Megumi's birthday is on December 15th, so that makes Yuji a December baby too. But when exactly? That's where it gets interesting.

Let the Speculation Begin!

Now, we could just leave it at that, but where's the fun in that? Let's play detective and narrow it down!

In the manga, Chapter 1, we learn that Yuji is in his second year of high school. If we assume he's 16 (which is typical for second-year high school students in Japan), and we know he's older than Megumi, we can start guessing.

Some fans suggest Yuji could be a late December baby, making him 17. Others think he might be a January baby, turning 17 just after his birthday. The mystery deepens!

Age isn't Just a Number... Or is it?

You might be thinking, "Who cares about Yuji's birthday? It's just a detail!" But hear me out. In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, age can matter. A lot.

Take Sukuna, for instance. He's a special grade cursed spirit, and he's over 1,000 years old. That's some serious life experience right there. And let's not forget the Cursed Wombs, who can live for centuries. Age can bring power, wisdom, and... well, a lot of baggage.

After Yuji Itadori, It's Time To Welcome Another Old Generation Legend

So, while Yuji's exact age might not change the fact that he's a sensational protagonist, it could add another layer to his story. And isn't that what makes Jujutsu Kaisen so darn enjoyable?

So, What's the Verdict?

Alright, alright. I know you're dying to know. My personal theory? Yuji is a January baby, turning 17 just after his birthday. But remember, that's just a guess. It's all part of the fun!

In the end, whether Yuji is 16, 17, or even 17 and a half, it doesn't change the fact that he's a kickass main character in one of the best anime and manga series out there. So, let's raise a cup of ramen to Yuji, no matter what day he was born!
