The Legendary Tickle

So, how old is Tickle on Moonshiners? The wild man of the Discovery Channel, Timothy Rosser, was born on February 1, 1981, making him a solid early-fortysomething today. He has been entertaining audiences for years with his crazy stunts and incredible charm.

That makes him around 43 years old right now. But age is just a number when you are running illegal stills deep in the dark woods. Tickle proves that you can be young at heart even when your beard is turning gray.

From Young Rebel to Moonshine Star

Tickle grew up in the rugged Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. The mountainous landscape was basically his childhood playground and home. Illegal liquor has been a family tradition passed down for generations.

He wasn't just some random guy picked for the show by chance. His chaotic, unpredictable energy was immediately recognized by the sharp producers. They knew a breakout star was born when they saw him fire up a massive copper still.

Before fame found him, he lived a pretty rough and tumble life. Arrests and legal troubles followed him around like a stray dog without a home. But the cameras saw something different in that wild, unkempt look.

A Star is Born

Tickle quickly became the fan favorite of the entire series. Viewers were drawn to his outrageous personality and fearless attitude on screen. He brought a level of excitement that nobody else could ever match.

Quirky Facts About the Old Man

Why We Love Watching Him

Moonshiners simply wouldn't be the same without Tickle's absolute antics and wild behavior. He constantly clashes with the law and his fellow distillers. Chaos follows him everywhere he goes like a loyal shadow.

He once got arrested for a DUI that made national headlines across the country. The incident was widely covered by the local media outlets. It just added another layer to his notorious outlaw reputation.

But underneath all the trouble, he is a genuinely skilled craftsman. A perfect shine is produced by his careful, experienced hands. The traditional process is deeply respected even if the man himself is a bit reckless.

The Beard Speaks Volumes

Nobody can talk about Tickle without mentioning his incredible beard. The hair has become a beloved symbol of his wild and free spirit. It frames his face perfectly while he works on his next batch.

The Art of the Still

Tickle is famous for building some of the most ridiculously oversized stills ever seen. Giant copper monsters are assembled in his sprawling backyard with wild enthusiasm. They look like something straight out of a steampunk fantasy novel.

His age definitely doesn't slow him down one single bit at all. He is always running around in the dense woods without a care in the world. Sweat and grease are his daily companions on every job.

People often wonder if he is really as crazy as he looks on camera. The truth is, he is just having the absolute time of his life. Living dangerously is practically his middle name and his whole personality.
