How Old Is The Game Rapper

So, you're curious about how old the game rapper is, huh? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into the world of video games and hip-hop, where age ain't nothin' but a number... or is it?

Let's Set the Stage

Imagine it's the late '80s, arcades are the place to be, and Pac-Man is still the king of the hill. Meanwhile, in the streets, hip-hop is blowing up, with pioneers like Run-DMC and Public Enemy spitting rhymes and breaking boundaries. Now, picture this: what if these two worlds collided? Enter: MC Skat Kat, the original game rapper.

MC Skat Kat: The OG Game Rapper

Born in 1991, MC Skat Kat, or just Skat Kat for short, was the star of the Aladdin video game series. This feline MC was no ordinary cat; he was a breakdancing, rapping, street-smart kitty with a heart of gold. With hits like "Genie (What a Guy)" and "Friend Like Me", Skat Kat proved that even cats could spit rhymes and bust a move.

But here's the kicker: Skat Kat wasn't just a game character; he was a real-life phenomenon. He had his own album, "All Wrapped Up", featuring the iconic duet with Paula Abdul, "Opposites Attract". Yes, you read that right. A cat rapping and dancing with a human. In the '90s, that was just par for the course.

Fast Forward to the Present

Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good, but what about today's game rappers?" Well, my friend, let me introduce you to the likes of Fortnite's Lil' Kev and Lil' Andy, the NBA 2K series' 2K Sports, and even Drake himself, who's been known to grace the virtual courts of NBA 2K.

These modern game rappers might not have their own albums (yet), but they're no less influential. They're breaking barriers, blending genres, and proving that gaming and hip-hop can coexist in perfect harmony. And let's not forget, they're doing it all while looking fly in their digital drip.

So, How Old Is the Game Rapper?

Well, that depends on who you're talking about. If we're counting MC Skat Kat, then the game rapper is a ripe old age of 30. But if we're talking about the modern game rappers, well, they're as young as the games they inhabit. And isn't that the beauty of it all?
