How Old Is Tatum In Scream 7

Guess Who's Back! Tatum in Scream 7 - The Age Reveal

Alright, gather 'round, horror fans! We've got a juicy tidbit to spill about our favorite scream queen, Neve Campbell, and her character, Sidney Prescott, in the upcoming Scream 7. You ready?

First things first, let's address the elephant in the room. No, Tatum Riley didn't survive that infamous garage door scene in Scream. Sorry to burst your bubble, but we're not here to debate the laws of horror movie physics. We're here to talk about Sidney's age in Scream 7.

Now, you might be thinking, "Who cares how old Sidney is? She's been through enough!" And you're right, age is just a number when you've faced Ghostface as many times as Sidney has. But stick with me, because this is where things get interesting.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun (and Surviving Slasher Flicks)

So, let's do some math, shall we? The original Scream was released in 1996, and Sidney was a high school senior. That makes her, oh, let's say around 17 or 18 at the time. Now, it's 2023, and Scream 7 is on the horizon. That's, what, 27 years later?

Now, Neve Campbell herself is 49 years old. But remember, Sidney's been through a lot. She's been to college, faced Ghostface multiple times, and probably taken up some serious therapy sessions. So, it's safe to say Sidney's age in Scream 7 will reflect Campbell's real-life age.

But here's the kicker: Sidney's not the only one aging. Ghostface has been around the block a few times too. Think about it - the original killer, Billy Loomis, was a high school student in the first film. Now, he'd be... well, let's not go there. Let's just say Ghostface has been passed down through generations, and it's high time we meet a new one.

Why Age Matters (Sort Of)

You might be wondering why we're so hung up on Sidney's age. Well, aside from the obvious fact that we're all curious cats, it's because Scream 7 is promising a fresh take on the franchise. With a new director at the helm (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo behind Ready or Not) and a new Ghostface, it's clear that the rules are changing.

Sidney's age could be a big part of that. Maybe she's finally ready to hang up her scream queen crown and pass the torch to a new generation. Or maybe she's just getting started. Either way, it's going to be interesting to see how her age factors into the story.
