How Old Is Stitch

Hey there, fellow Lilo & Stitch fans! You know how sometimes you're watching your favorite movie or show, and you suddenly think, "Hmm, I wonder how old Stitch is?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into that very question. Grab your 'Ohana and let's get started!

So, When Was Stitch Born?

Alright, first things first. Stitch, or Experiment 626 as he was known back in the day, was created by the mad scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba on the planet Turo. Now, we don't know the exact date, but we can make an educated guess. In the movie, it's mentioned that Stitch was created just a few days before he was captured by Captain Gantu. That was in the year 2121, so let's say Stitch was born sometime in late 2120.

But wait, you might be thinking, "That's not helpful! I want to know how old he is now!" I hear ya, and we're getting there. We just need to figure out how many years have passed since then.

Counting the Years

Now, here's where things get a little tricky. The Lilo & Stitch movies and TV shows span over a decade, with the first movie coming out in 2002 and the last one in 2019. But remember, those are the release dates, not the in-universe timeline. Plus, the movies and shows don't always follow a strict chronological order. It's like trying to figure out your friend group's birthday hierarchy - it's a mess, right?

However, if we take the events of the first movie as our starting point, that's when Stitch lands on Earth and meets Lilo. That was in 2002, and since we estimated Stitch's birth year to be around 2120, that means he was about 200 years old when he met Lilo.

But Wait, There's More!

You might be thinking, "Okay, so Stitch is 200 years old. But how old is he now?" Well, that depends on how much time has passed since the first movie. If we assume that the events of the movies and shows happen in real-time, then Stitch would be around 222 years old as of 2022. But remember, that's just an estimate. The Lilo & Stitch universe isn't exactly known for its strict adherence to the laws of physics, let alone time.

And let's not forget, Stitch is an alien experiment with accelerated healing and growth. Who knows how that affects his aging process? Maybe he's immortal, maybe he ages backwards - we just don't know! Isn't that exciting?

So, How Old Is Stitch? Who Knows!

Alright, so we've established that Stitch is somewhere between 200 and 222 years old, give or take a few decades. But here's the thing: does it really matter? Whether Stitch is 200, 222, or even 2000 years old, he's still the lovable, mischievous little guy we all know and love.

What's important is that Stitch found his 'Ohana, learned the true meaning of family, and became a better experiment for it. And that, my friends, is something worth celebrating. So here's to you, Stitch - no matter how old you are, you're always going to be our favorite little alien!
