First things first, let's set the scene. Imagine Neil Young as that cool uncle who's always got a guitar on his lap and a story to tell. He's been around forever, yet he's still as relevant as your favorite pair of jeans. Now, let's try to pin down his age without asking him directly (because, you know, privacy and all that).

Birthday Blues

Neil Young was born on November 12, 1945. That's right, he's a Scorpio – intense, passionate, and probably has a thing for black turtlenecks. Now, if you're thinking, "Wow, that's old!" well, hold onto your hats, because it gets a bit trickier.

See, Neil Young isn't just some regular old guy. He's a living legend, an institution in the world of music. From Folk to... Pono?

Neil Young started his musical journey back in the 60s, when bell-bottoms were in fashion, and the Beatles were still together. He's seen the birth and death of disco, the rise and fall of grunge, and the advent of digital music. Heck, he even tried to start his own digital music format called Pono – but that's a story for another time.

Think about it this way: Neil Young is like that old oak tree in your grandma's backyard. It's not just about how many rings it has (years), it's about the stories it could tell (musical eras). It's been through storms, witnessed history, and provided shade for generations. That's Neil Young for you – a musical oak tree.
