How Old Is Miles Morales

So, you're curious about Miles Morales, huh? The kid's been making waves in the Marvel universe, but how old is he, really?

Let's dive in, shall we?

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

You might've first met Miles in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie. He's the main guy, after all. But how old is he in that? Well, it's a bit tricky. The movie doesn't give us a straight answer, but it's implied he's around 13 or 14.

I mean, he's still in middle school, right? And he's dealing with all that pre-teen angst. You know, the whole 'my dad's a cop, I don't want to be like him' thing. Typical teen drama.

Comic Book Miles

Now, let's talk comics. Miles Morales first appeared in Ultimate Fallout #4 in 2011. In the comics, he's a bit older. He's 13 when he first becomes Spider-Man, but the timeline gets a bit wonky after that.

See, the Ultimate Universe (where Miles comes from) got rebooted, and then merged with the main Marvel Universe. So, his age has been a bit of a rollercoaster. But as of recent comics, he's around 16 or 17.

Teenage years, am I right? They grow up so fast.

So, How Old Is He?

Alright, let's sum this up. In the movies, Miles is around 13 or 14. In the comics, he's been around 13 to 17, depending on which story you're reading. It's a bit of a mess, I know.

But here's the thing: does it really matter? Whether he's 13 or 17, Miles Morales is kicking butt and taking names. He's a kid dealing with big problems, and he's doing it in spandex. That's what makes him awesome.

So, next time you're watching Into the Spider-Verse or reading a comic, just enjoy the ride. Whether Miles is a pre-teen or a teenager, he's still our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
