How Old Is Mike Myers

Hey there, ever wondered what's cooking with Mike Myers? You know, the guy who brought us Austin Powers, Wayne's World, and that super-cool Scottish dude from the Shrek movies? Yeah, that Mike Myers.

Well, let's dive in and find out how old this comedy legend is. Grab a seat, because we're about to have a blast!

So, How Old Is Mike Myers?

Alright, let's get down to business. As of 2023, Mike Myers is 59 years young. That's right, he was born on May 25, 1963, which makes him a Gemini, in case you're into that astrology stuff.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "No way, he doesn't look a day over 40!" Well, my friend, that's the magic of comedy. It keeps you young at heart, even if your birth certificate says otherwise.

Growing Up Myers

Mike was born in Scarborough, Toronto, Canada. Yep, you heard it right, he's a maple syrup-lovin', sorry-sayin', true-blue Canadian. His parents, Eric and Alice Myers, were British immigrants who brought a touch of the old country to their new home.

Young Mike was a bit of a shy kid, but that all changed when he discovered comedy. He started performing stand-up at the age of 16, and the rest, as they say, is history. Well, not quite yet. We've got a whole lot more Myers magic to uncover.

From Stage to Screen

Mike's big break came in 1989 when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live. He spent five seasons there, creating iconic characters like Wayne Campbell, Linda Richman, and Dr. Evil. Yeah, you know you love them!

After SNL, Mike took his comedy to the big screen. He starred in and co-wrote Wayne's World and its sequel, brought us the international man of mystery, Austin Powers, and even lent his voice to the lovable ogre, Shrek.

And let's not forget his dramatic roles in movies like So I Married an Axe Murderer and 54. See, Mike's not just a funny guy; he's a versatile actor too!

Family Life and Personal Bits

Mike married his longtime girlfriend, Kelly Tisdale, in 1993. They have two kids together, a son named Spike and a daughter named Sunday. Isn't that a cute little family?

Now, here's a fun fact for you. Mike is a huge Monty Python fan. He even got to work with his idols, John Cleese and Terry Gilliam, on the animated film The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. How cool is that?
