How Old Is Michael Keaton

So, you're wondering, "How old is Michael Keaton?" Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into a world of bat caves, bird brains, and a whole lot of age-defying charm.

Let's Start at the Beginning

Michael John Douglas, yes, that's right, Douglas, was born on September 5, 1951. Now, before you start doing the math, let me just say, he's been around the block a few times. But who's counting, right?

He grew up in Pennsylvania, where he was known for his quick wit and ability to make people laugh. Little did he know, those skills would one day land him in the spotlight. But more on that later.

From Stage to Screen

Keaton, yes, we're calling him Keaton now, started his career on the stage. He was a regular at Chicago's Second City, an improv comedy club that's spawned more laughs than you can shake a stick at. It's where he honed his chops and met some folks who would change his life forever.

One of those folks was Paul Reubens, better known as Pee-wee Herman. Together, they created the cult classic, Pee-wee's Big Adventure. And just like that, Keaton was on his way to becoming a household name.

The Dark Knight Rises

But Keaton wasn't just a funny guy. Oh no, he had a dark side. A Batman side, if you will. In 1989, he slipped on the cowl and became the Caped Crusader in Batman. And let me tell you, he was flying high.

He reprised the role in Batman Returns, but then something strange happened. He hung up the cape and disappeared into the night. Or so we thought.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

In the '90s, Keaton popped up in some unexpected places. Like Beetlejuice, where he played the titular ghost with the most. And The Paper, where he played a journalist who wasn't afraid to ruffle some feathers. Or maybe that was just his hair.

But then, something amazing happened. Keaton decided to give Batman another shot. And this time, he was older, wiser, and ready to kick some serious butt.

Birdman Soars

In 2014, Keaton starred in Birdman, a movie about an actor trying to escape his famous role. It was a meta masterpiece, and Keaton was flying high again, winning an Academy Award for Best Actor.

And just like that, Keaton was back on top. He's since popped up in everything from The Founder to Spider-Man: Homecoming, proving that age is just a number. And that number is... well, you do the math.

So, How Old Is He?

Alright, alright, you've been patient. As of 2021, Michael Keaton is 70 years young. And you know what? He doesn't look a day over 65. Kidding! Sort of.

But in all seriousness, Keaton's age is just a number. He's a living, breathing testament to the fact that you're never too old to follow your dreams. Or to make us laugh until our sides ache.

So here's to Michael Keaton, the original Batman, the bird brain, and the man who's proven that age is just a number. Keep doing you, Mike. We'll keep laughing.
