How Old Is Malachi Barton

So, Just How Old Is Malachi Barton, Anyway?

Alright, gather 'round, folks! You might know him from Black-ish, or maybe you've seen him on Grey's Anatomy. But have you ever wondered, "Hey, how old is Malachi Barton, really?" Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into the world of this young, talented actor and find out!

Let's Start at the Beginning

Malachi was born on May 22, 2008, in Los Angeles, California. That's right, he's a true-blue LA native! So, if you're doing the math, that makes him a 13-year-old as of 2021. But don't let his age fool you - this kid's got more talent and charisma than some actors twice his age!

Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, 13? He's been acting for ages!" And you'd be right. Malachi started his acting journey when he was just a wee lad of five. Can you even remember what you were doing at five? Probably not, but Malachi was already making his mark on the small screen!

From Little League to the Big Screen

Before he became a household name, Malachi was just a regular kid playing little league baseball. But fate had other plans. His mom, a casting director, saw an opportunity and encouraged him to give acting a shot. And boy, are we glad she did!

Malachi's first big break came when he landed the role of Young Dre in Black-ish. He was only six at the time, but he held his own alongside the show's veteran cast. From there, it was smooth sailing (well, mostly - acting is a tough business, after all!).

More Than Just a Pretty Face

Now, you might be wondering, "What's Malachi like off-screen?" Well, let me tell you, this kid's got a heart of gold. He's a big fan of superheroes (who isn't, right?), and he loves playing video games in his free time. But what really sets him apart is his passion for helping others.

Malachi has been involved with various charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He even started his own charity, Malachi's Heroes, to help kids in need. Isn't that just the sweetest thing you've ever heard?
