Let's Set the Clock

First things first, we need to establish when these lovable misfits first graced our screens. Lilo & Stitch, the movie, was released on June 21, 2002. That's right, folks! It's been over two decades since we first met the little Hawaiian girl with a big heart and her extraterrestrial pet with a penchant for chaos.

Now, you might be thinking, "But wait! I've seen Lilo & Stitch: The Series. Doesn't that change things?" Ah, you're onto something there, my friend. The TV show premiered on September 20, 2003, and ran until December 31, 2006. But here's where things get a little... complicated.

Time Traveling Aliens

You see, Stitch, or Experiment 626 as he was originally known, is no ordinary alien. He's a genetic experiment created by the mad scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba on the planet Turo. And guess who created the time machine that sent Stitch hurtling towards Earth? None other than Dr. Jumba himself!

So, when we talk about Lilo & Stitch's age, we're not just dealing with the time they've spent on our planet. We're also dealing with the time they've spent traveling through space and time. It's like trying to figure out how old a cat is when you don't know if it's been living in a human year or a cat year. Only... more intergalactic.

Stitch's Age: A Cosmic Conundrum

Stitch, being an alien experiment, doesn't age like we do. He's more like a fine wine, constantly evolving and changing. But if we're going by the time he's spent on Earth, he's... well, let's just say he's been here long enough to have seen a few presidential terms come and go.

As for Lilo, our favorite Hawaiian girl, she's a human, so she ages like one. But here's where things get tricky. The movie and the series span a few years, and Lilo's age fluctuates between 6 and 10 years old throughout. It's like trying to pin down a toddler who's determined to explore every inch of the playground.
