Born in the Roaring '40s

Let's rewind to 1939, the year Lee Majors, or Harvey Lee Yeary as he was born, saw the light of day in Wyandotte, Michigan. That makes him a contemporary of some serious heavyweights - think Elvis, Marilyn, and even the Queen herself!

Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, that's old!" But hold your horses, because Lee's not your average '40s baby. He's got a secret weapon - a youthful charm that's as timeless as his career.

From Hollywood to the Small Screen

Lee's journey to stardom is as action-packed as his on-screen roles. He served in the Army, then studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting. His big break? A bit part in The Virginian in the '60s. From there, it was a bionic leap to fame with The Six Million Dollar Man in the '70s.

Who could forget the iconic theme song? "Steve Austin, astronaut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster." It's enough to give you goosebumps!
