How Old Is Kiki In Kiki's Delivery Service

So, you've seen Kiki's Delivery Service, right? You know, that magical little film by Studio Ghibli where a young witch and her black cat, Jiji, start a delivery business? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into the curious case of Kiki's age. Grab your broomstick, we're going on an adventure!

Kiki's Big Secret

Alright, let's get something straight. Kiki's age is like the ultimate Ghibli mystery. The film itself doesn't drop any numbers, and Hayao Miyazaki, the mastermind behind the movie, isn't one to spill the beans. But don't worry, we're not going to let that stop us from having some fun!

Witches and Their Brooms

First things first, let's talk about witches and their brooms. In the world of Kiki's Delivery Service, witches get their brooms at the age of 13. That's right, it's like a rite of passage. So, when we first meet Kiki, she's just a young witch with a new broom and a whole lot of dreams.

Now, here's where things get interesting. Kiki's journey takes a year. That's right, folks, the entire film spans just 365 days. So, if she starts her delivery service at 13, and the film takes place over a year...

Math Time!

Alright, don't roll your eyes at me. We're just going to do a little addition here. If Kiki starts her business at 13 and the film lasts a year, then by the end of the movie, she would be...

14. That's right, by the time the credits roll, Kiki is a sweet 14 years old. But wait, there's more!
