How Old Is Joey Cold Cuts

So, there I was, scrolling through Instagram, when I stumbled upon this pic of Joey Cold Cuts. You know, the guy from Friends? The one who loves pizza, sandwiches, and... well, cold cuts. Anyway, I was like, "Wow, Joey's still looking good!" But then it hit me, "How old is he actually?" I mean, the show ended ages ago, right? So, let's dive into this time-traveling rabbit hole together, shall we?

First things first, who's Joey?

Alright, so for those who've been living under a rock (or maybe you're just into really old movies, no judgment), Joey Tribbiani is a character from the popular TV show Friends. He's played by Matt LeBlanc, and he's known for his love of food, his catchphrases (like "How you doin'?"), and his unique sense of style.

But here's the thing, Friends ended in 2004. That's right, it's been almost two decades since we last saw Joey, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Ross, and Phoebe on our screens. So, let's do some math.

When was Matt LeBlanc born?

Matt LeBlanc, the man behind Joey, was born on July 25, 1967. That makes him a 54-year-old Leo. Yes, you read that right. Our beloved Joey is in his mid-fifties! I know, I know, it's hard to believe. He doesn't look a day over 35, right?

But wait, before you start feeling old (or young, if you're one of those whippersnappers), let's put things into perspective. Matt was 27 when Friends first aired in 1994. So, he was playing a character who was supposed to be in his mid-twenties when he was already in his late twenties himself. Mind. Blown.

So, how old was Joey when the show ended?

Well, if we assume Joey was around the same age as Matt when the show started (which is a fair assumption, given that they're both New Yorkers with a love for food), then Joey would have been around 30 when the show ended. That makes him 45 in the Friends universe when the show wrapped up.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But what about the Friends reunion? Didn't that come out recently?" Yes, it did. And yes, Matt LeBlanc is still looking fantastic. But that special was filmed in 2021, so he was 54 then too. Sorry to burst your bubble, but time waits for no man, not even Joey Tribbiani.

But how does he look so young?

Well, that's the million-dollar question, isn't it? Maybe it's the power of good genes, or maybe it's the fact that he's been eating a balanced diet of pizza and sandwiches all these years. Who knows? All I know is that I want whatever he's having.

In all seriousness though, Matt LeBlanc has aged like fine wine. He's still got that charm, that wit, and that laugh that can light up a room. And hey, if he can make us feel this nostalgic and this young at heart, then maybe age really is just a number.

So there you have it, folks. Joey Tribbiani, the man, the myth, the legend, is 54 years old. And you know what? I think that's pretty darn cool. After all, as Joey would say, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!"
