How Old Is James Bolam

So, you're wondering, "How old is James Bolam?" Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into a world of laughter, surprises, and a touch of history. Grab your coffee, let's get started!

James Who Now?

Before we dive into the big 'O' word, let's set the scene. James Bolam is a British actor, born in Sunderland, way back in 1935. Yes, you heard it right, he's a fossil, a relic, a... well, you get the picture. But don't let that fool you, he's still going strong, like a fine wine (or a well-loved pair of jeans).

Now, you might be thinking, "I've heard that name before, but where?" Well, let me jog your memory. Remember that classic British sitcom, The Likely Lads? Yep, that's our James, playing the lovable rogue, Terry Collier. And if that doesn't ring a bell, how about Porridge? That's right, he's the one and only Norman Stanley Fletcher, the king of prison comedy.

Born in the Roaring Twenties?

Alright, alright, let's get down to business. You're here for the big reveal, the answer to the question that's been keeping you up at night. "How old is James Bolam?" Well, my friends, he was born on the 16th of May, 1935. That's right, he's older than the Queen (by a few months, mind you).

But here's where it gets interesting. If we were to compare him to something, it wouldn't be a fine wine or a well-loved pair of jeans. No, no, no. James Bolam is like a fine, vintage... cheese. Yes, you heard it right. He's like a cheddar that's been aging in the British countryside, getting better with each passing year.

Still Going Strong

Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good, but what's he up to these days?" Well, let me tell you, James Bolam is still acting his socks off. He's been in countless TV shows and films, and he's even done some voice work. He's like the Energizer Bunny, he just keeps going and going.

And here's a fun fact for you. James Bolam has been married to the same woman, Susan Jameson, since 1968. That's right, they've been together longer than some countries have been independent. Talk about a long-running sitcom!
