How Old Is Gabi In Aot

So, you're here because you've been binge-watching Attack on Titan and you're curious about Gabi's age, right? Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into a world of giant humanoids, political intrigue, and... math. Yes, you heard it right, folks. We're gonna do some math. Don't worry, I'll keep it simple. I promise.

Let's Start at the Beginning

First things first, we need to establish when Gabi was born. Now, this is where things get a bit tricky. You see, the timeline in Attack on Titan isn't as straightforward as, say, the timeline of your favorite sitcom. But fear not! I've done the heavy lifting for you.

Gabi Braun is introduced in the anime's third season, which covers the events of the Marley arc in the manga. The Marley arc takes place in the year 854 of the series' calendar. Now, here's where it gets interesting. In the year 854, Gabi is 12 years old. But wait, you might ask, how can we be sure?

Well, my friend, it's all about context clues. You see, Gabi's age is mentioned in the manga when she's first introduced. She's described as a 12-year-old girl. Now, you might be thinking, "But what about the anime? What if they changed something?" Well, I'm glad you asked.

The anime is faithful to the manga in this regard. In episode 57, titled "The War Hammer Titan," Gabi's age is confirmed. She's seen filling out a form where she writes her age as 12. Case closed, right? Not so fast. We're not done here.

How Old Are Attack on Titan's Characters at the End?

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, so Gabi is 12 in 854. But how old is she in the present day? You know, the 'now' of the series." Well, that's a great question! And it leads us to our next point.

The series spans a total of 10 years. That's right, folks. From the first episode to the last, it's a decade-long journey. So, if Gabi was 12 in 854, that means she's... wait for it... 22 years old in the present day. Yes, you heard it right. Gabi Braun, the girl who started out as a naive, impressionable child, is now a full-blown adult.

But What About the Rumors?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But I've heard rumors that Gabi is older than that. That she's, like, 30 or something." Well, those are just rumors, my friend. I mean, sure, time flies when you're fighting giant humanoids, but not that fast.

Besides, if Gabi was 30, she'd have been born in the year 824. And that would mean she was 30 years old during the events of the first season. Which, let's face it, would be a bit weird. I mean, can you imagine a 30-year-old Eren Jaeger? Scary, right?

So, There You Have It

Gabi Braun is 22 years old in the present day of Attack on Titan. She's grown up a lot since we first met her, and she's got a lot more growing to do. But that's a story for another time. For now, let's just enjoy the fact that we've solved the great Gabi age mystery. And remember, folks, the next time someone asks you how old Gabi is, you can say, "Well, it's complicated. But I've done the math, and she's 22."

And with that, my friends, we conclude our little journey into the world of Attack on Titan ages. Until next time, keep your blades sharp and your math skills even sharper. Over and out.
