How Old Is Gabi From Aot

Ever wondered about the age of Gabi Braun, the spunky Survey Corps member from the hit anime and manga series "Attack on Titan"? Well, grab a cup of coffee, get comfy, and let's dive into this fun little exploration together.

Gabi's Journey: A Timeline

Gabi, daughter of the 145th Brigade's commander, Kiyal Braun, was born in the Marleyan military district of Liberio. She's a character who's grown significantly throughout the series, so let's take a look at her journey.

In the anime's fourth season, we see Gabi as a 19-year-old soldier in the Marleyan military. Now, you might be thinking, "19? But she looks so young!" Well, that's because she is young. In the world of "Attack on Titan," the average life expectancy is significantly lower than ours, thanks to the constant threat of Titans. This harsh reality often leads to children growing up faster than they should.

Gabi's Age: A Cultural Context

In Japan, where the manga originates, the coming-of-age ceremony, or Seijin no Hi, is celebrated when a person turns 20. This tradition reflects the cultural significance of reaching adulthood. In Gabi's case, turning 19 would make her a teenager by our standards, but in her world, she's already considered an adult.
