How Old Is Fatboy Slim

Ever found yourself grooving to "Praise You" or "Weapon of Choice" and wondered, "Hey, how old is this guy who's been making us dance for decades?" Well, let's dive into the world of Fatboy Slim and find out!

So, who's Fatboy Slim?

If you're into your tunes, you'll know he's the brainchild of Norman Cook, a British DJ and record producer who's been spinning our wheels since the 90s. But how old is he, you ask?

Born in '63, still going strong!

Norman Cook, our beloved Fatboy Slim, was born on July 31, 1963. That makes him, let's see... carry the two... 58 years young as of 2021! Can you believe it? He's been around longer than some of us have been alive, and he's still making us move like nobody's watching.

Now, you might be thinking, "58? But he looks so... youthful!" Well, that's the magic of music, my friends. It keeps you young at heart, and it seems Fatboy Slim is living proof of that.

From The Housemartins to Fatboy Slim

Before he was Fatboy Slim, Norman Cook was a member of The Housemartins, a British indie rock band from the late 80s. They were known for their unique blend of indie and pop, and even had a few hits like "Caravan of Love." But Norman had other plans.

In the early 90s, he started producing music under various aliases, including Pizzaman and Mighty Dub Katz. It was in 1996 that he adopted the moniker Fatboy Slim, and the rest, as they say, is history.
