How Old Is Ezra In Season 1 Pretty Little Liars

So, I was binge-watching Pretty Little Liars the other day, you know, just for old times' sake. I mean, who can resist the drama, the secrets, and those iconic outfits? Anyway, I found myself wondering, as I often do during these marathons, just how old Ezra Fitz is supposed to be in the first season. I mean, he's teaching high school, but he's also got this whole 'mysterious older man' vibe going on. So, let's dive into the rabbit hole and find out, shall we?

Ezra Fitz: The Enigmatic Teacher

For those of you who haven't joined the PLL fan club yet, Ezra Fitz is the English teacher at Rosewood High. He's charming, he's smart, and he's got this whole 'bad boy' thing going on, thanks to that leather jacket and that motorcycle. But how old is he, really?

In the first season, Ezra is introduced as a 24-year-old teacher. That's right, folks. He's just a baby! Okay, maybe not a baby, but certainly younger than he looks. I mean, have you seen his wardrobe? That man dresses like he's in his late 20s, early 30s. But no, he's just a fresh-faced 24-year-old trying to make it in the world of teaching.

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "But wait, didn't he graduate from college like, five minutes ago?" And you'd be right. Ezra graduated from college just a year before the first season starts. He's fresh out of college, fresh out of a relationship, and fresh into a teaching career. Talk about a whirlwind!

So, why does he look so much older? Well, that's the magic of television, my friends. Or maybe it's just the fact that he's playing a teacher, and teachers are always older, right? I mean, can you imagine a 19-year-old teacher? No, me neither.

Ezra Fitz: The Spy Who Loved Me

Now, you might be wondering why Ezra's age is such a big deal. I mean, it's not like he's dating one of his students or anything... oh wait, he totally is. Oops! Spoiler alert, I guess. But in all seriousness, Ezra's age is a big deal because it's a major factor in the whole 'teacher-student relationship' drama that unfolds throughout the series.

I mean, think about it. If Ezra was, say, 30 or 35, the age difference between him and the Liars would be a lot less noticeable. But at 24, he's just a few years older than some of his students. It's a tricky situation, and it's one that the show explores in depth, especially when it comes to Ezra's relationship with Aria.
