How Old Is Eddie From Stranger Things In Real Life

So, I was binge-watching Stranger Things the other day, and I found myself wondering, "How old is Eddie from Stranger Things in real life?" I mean, it's not like I was pausing the show every five minutes to Google it, but hey, it's a fair question, right?

Meet the Real Eddie

Alright, so the Eddie we know and love from the show is played by Joseph Quinn. Now, I know what you're thinking, "But I thought his character was supposed to be like, 15 or something?" Well, hold onto your Eggos, because Joseph Quinn is actually 30 years old in real life.

Age is Just a Number

I know, I know, it's a bit of a shock. But hey, age is just a number, right? And besides, it's not like Joseph Quinn is playing a kid. Eddie is supposed to be a high school dropout, so it kind of makes sense that the actor is a bit older.

From Teen Heartthrob to Bad Boy

Now, you might be wondering why they chose an older actor to play a character who's supposed to be a teenager. Well, it turns out, Joseph Quinn is actually a bit of a heartthrob in the UK. He's been in a few TV shows and movies over there, and he's got quite the following.

But even though he's got that teen heartthrob thing going on, the creators of Stranger Things wanted someone who could play a bit of a bad boy. And let me tell you, Joseph Quinn nails it. I mean, have you seen him with that guitar?

Not Your Average Teenager

So, even though Eddie is supposed to be a teenager, Joseph Quinn brings something a little extra to the role. He's got this kind of rough-around-the-edges thing going on, which makes Eddie a bit more complex and interesting.

So, How Old Does He Look?

Now, I'm sure you're all dying to know, does Joseph Quinn look 30 in real life? Well, I'll let you in on a little secret - he doesn't. I mean, he looks older than Eddie, sure, but he's got this kind of boyish charm that makes him look younger than his actual age.

Plus, have you seen his hair? It's like a mullet, but somehow, he makes it work. I mean, I don't know about you, but I can't pull off a mullet at any age, let alone 30.

Age is Just a Number, Folks

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter how old Joseph Quinn is in real life. He's doing an amazing job playing Eddie, and that's what matters. So, next time you're watching Stranger Things, remember, age is just a number, and Eddie might be a teenager on screen, but he's a 30-year-old heartthrob in real life.
