How Old Is Dragon Ball

Ever wondered how old your favorite anime series is? You know, the one where a kid with spiky hair saves the world more times than we've had hot dinners? Yep, we're talking about Dragon Ball! So, grab a Senzu Bean and let's dive into the time machine together, yeah?

Back in the Day

Alright, so buckle up, 'cause we're going way back to 1984. That's right, the year when Madonna was just getting started with "Like a Virgin," and the first Dragon Ball manga chapter was born. Can you believe it? Our little Goku was just a baby, and so was this epic series!

Now, you might be thinking, "Wait a minute, I've seen Goku as a kid, a teenager, and even an old man. How can one series span all those ages?" Well, my friend, that's because Dragon Ball is like a fine wine, it just keeps getting better with age. Or should we say, with time skip?

Time Skips Galore

You see, Dragon Ball isn't your average anime. It's got this magical ability to fast-forward through time, giving us a front-row seat to Goku's life from birth to... well, let's not spoil the fun, shall we?

Think about it like this: each time skip is like hitting the 'next level' button in a video game. Goku grows up, learns new moves, and faces even tougher enemies. It's like watching your favorite superhero evolve right before your eyes. Pretty cool, huh?

Still Going Strong

So, how old is Dragon Ball now? Well, as of 2021, it's a ripe old age of 37! That's right, it's older than some of you reading this (don't worry, we won't tell). But here's the thing, it doesn't look a day over 18. How's that for aging gracefully?

And get this, even after all these years, Dragon Ball is still going strong. It's had its ups and downs, sure, but it's always found a way to come back, stronger than ever. Kind of like Goku, right?

Why We Still Love It

So, why do we still love Dragon Ball after all these years? Is it the epic fights? The hilarious moments? The fact that Goku can eat more than a whole cow and still be hungry? (Seriously, how does he do that?)

Maybe it's because Dragon Ball has been a part of our lives for so long. It's grown with us, changed with us, and given us some of the most unforgettable moments in anime history. And no matter how old it gets, we know it'll always be there, ready to give us another round of "Kamehameha!"

Now, who's ready to re-watch the series from the beginning? Let's celebrate Dragon Ball's birthday in style, yeah?
