How Old Is Daz Games

So, you're curious about Daz Games, huh? Let's grab a virtual coffee and chat about it. You know, like we're sitting in our favorite café, not a stuffy old article.

First things first, Daz Games isn't some whippersnapper that just rolled out of bed. No, no, no. It's been around the block a few times. But how many times, you ask? Well, that's where it gets a tad tricky.

Let's Do the Math

Daz 3D, the parent company, was born in the '90s. Yes, you heard it right, the good old '90s. You know, when dial-up internet was a thing, and we all thought we'd be driving flying cars by now. But I digress.

Now, Daz Games, as we know it today, didn't just pop up overnight. It was a slow burn, a labor of love, if you will. It started as a small team within Daz 3D, tinkering with game development on the side. So, if we're talking about the age of Daz Games as a standalone entity, we're looking at around 2010. But who's counting, right?

But Wait, There's More!

You might be thinking, "Okay, so it's been around for over a decade, but what's it done?" Well, let me tell you, it's not just been sitting on its laurels. Daz Games has been busy, oh so busy.

It's like that friend who's always got a new project on the go. You know, the one who's always showing up with a new hobby or side hustle? Yeah, that's Daz Games. It's been dipping its toes into all sorts of games - from MMOs to VR, from mobile games to console titles. It's been a real game development Renaissance man, if you will.

So, How Old Is It Again?

Alright, alright, let's get back to the original question. As a standalone entity, Daz Games is around 12 years old. But if we're talking about the age of the company that spawned it, we're looking at a good old 30+ years. Quite the age gap, huh? It's like the game development equivalent of an older sibling teaching their younger sibling the ropes.

But hey, age is just a number, right? What really matters is what you do with your time. And Daz Games? Well, it's been making quite the name for itself in the game development world. So, here's to many more years of gaming goodness!
