Born in '92, but you'd never guess it!

Thibaut Courtois was born on May 11, 1992. That makes him a Taurus, according to the zodiac. But don't let his birthday fool you – he's got the wisdom and skill of a player way beyond his years.

Growing up in Bree, Belgium, young Thibaut was always destined for greatness. He started playing soccer at the age of 4, and by 10, he was already taller than his coach! Talk about a late bloomer, right?

From Genk to Chelsea, a star is born

Courtois' professional career kicked off in 2009 when he joined KRC Genk. At just 16, he became the youngest goalkeeper ever to play in the Belgian Pro League. Not bad for a teenager!

In 2011, Chelsea came calling, and Courtois made the big move to London. He spent three seasons on loan at Atlético Madrid, winning the La Liga title and the Copa del Rey. Talk about making an impact!
