First Things First: Who's Benny?

For those who've been living under a rock (or maybe just not born yet), Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez is the main character in the classic '90s baseball comedy, The Sandlot. Played by the charming Mike Vitar, Benny's a kid with a serious love for baseball and a knack for making friends. He's the heart and soul of the movie, and let's be real, we all wanted to be his friend back in the day.

So, How Old Is Benny Now?

Alright, let's get down to business. Benny, or rather, Mike Vitar, was born on December 21, 1975. That makes him a 49-year-old in 2023. Now, let's do some math here. In 2025, Benny, I mean, Mike, will be a 50-year-old dude! Can you believe it? The kid who stole our hearts with his baseball skills and charm is turning 50!

Now, you might be wondering, what has Benny, or rather, Mike Vitar, been up to since his Sandlot days? Well, after stealing our hearts in the '90s, Mike took a break from acting. He became a firefighter in Los Angeles, which is pretty cool, right? He's been keeping our city safe while we've been re-watching The Sandlot and reminiscing about the good old days.
