How Old Is Beast From Beauty And The Beast

So, Beast from Beauty and the Beast - How Old Is He Anyway?

Alright, let's dive into this like we're at a cozy café, sipping on our favorite brew. You know how sometimes you meet someone, and you just can't put your finger on their age? That's kind of how it is with the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. He's a bit of an enigma, isn't he?

Let's Start at the Beginning

Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, there lived a prince who was kind of a jerk. I mean, he was rude to an old woman who turned out to be an enchantress. Big mistake, right? She cursed him into becoming a Beast and sent him to live in his castle, all alone. Now, the question is, how old was he when this happened?

Some say he was in his late teens, others put him in his early twenties. But remember, this was a time when people grew up faster. No smartphones to keep them occupied, just chivalry, horseback riding, and maybe a good book. So, he could have been younger than we think and still be considered a grown-up.

Time Stands Still... Sort Of

Now, here's where things get tricky. The spell that turned him into a Beast also stopped time in the castle. So, while he was stuck as a Beast, he wasn't aging. It's like when you leave a bottle of wine in the cellar for years, it doesn't get any older, right? But once you open it, it starts to change. Same thing with the Beast.

When Belle came along, she broke the spell, and time started ticking again for the Beast. So, technically, he could have been in his twenties when he turned into the Beast, but he didn't age a day until Belle showed up. It's like he was frozen in time, like a human version of Elsa's ice palace.

But How Old Was He When He Turned Back?

Alright, so we've established that he wasn't aging, but what about when the spell was broken? Was he still a young prince, or had he become an old Beast? Well, when the last petal fell from the enchanted rose, the Beast turned back into the prince. And guess what? He was still young and handsome!

Think of it like this: it's like when you put a cake in the oven. While it's in there, it's not getting any older, right? But once you take it out, it starts to cool down and change. The Beast was like that cake. He didn't age while he was under the spell, but once it was broken, he was back to his young self.

So, How Old Was He?

In the end, we don't know his exact age. It's like trying to guess the age of a fine wine - you can make an educated guess, but you'll never know for sure. But hey, who cares? The important thing is that he learned to love and be loved, and that's what made him truly beautiful, both inside and out.

And there you have it, folks. The age of the Beast from Beauty and the Beast - a tale as old as time, but still full of mystery. Now, who's ready for another cup of coffee and a chat about the fairies in A Midsummer Night's Dream?
